Benefits of Green Vegetables and Fruit

If you’re considering what goes into a healthy diet, it’s likely that you’ll end up thinking of green vegetables and fruits. Many fruits and vegetables are excellent sources of a wide variety of nutrients, but dark green ones tend to be the most nutrient rich. Whether you’re looking for a maximum load of a particular nutrient in a small amount of food, or if you’re simply looking for an overall healthy and nutrient rich type of food to add into your diet on a regular basis, dark green vegetables and fruits are oftentimes the best place to turn.
Calcium

Although it’s not typically well known, dark green vegetables like kale, broccoli, and spinach are all very rich in calcium. Calcium is an important nutrient that is crucial to the development and the maintenance of bones, teeth and other parts of your body as well. While dairy products like milk and cheese are excellent sources of calcium, many people develop an intolerance or a sensitivity toward these products over time. Dark green vegetables and fruits can be a good way to continue to get the calcium that your body requires without causing your digestive system any stress.
Dietary Fiber
Fruits and vegetables in general are a good source of dietary fiber, but dark green ones in particular make the most of this important nutrient. Broccoli, spinach, cucumber, kiwi, and pears are all good sources of dietary fiber. Fiber is responsible for maintaining a healthy digestive tract and supporting a wide array of other bodily systems in less crucial ways as well. Eating green fruits and vegetables will help to ensure that you do not run into any problems with your digestive system.
Antioxidants
Green fruits and vegetables are also famous for being well stocked with antioxidants. In particular, kale, broccoli, zucchini, cucumbers, and green apples are good sources of antioxidants. In your body, chemical processes that occur naturally can result in free oxygen particles becoming loose and floating through your bloodstream. As this happens, it’s possible that your cells may become damaged while the oxygen particles interact with them. Repeated damage over many years can lead to progressive diseases like cancer. Antioxidants are natural chemicals that neutralize those oxygen particles before they cause damage. They have been linked to lowered incidences of cancer.
Vitamins
While each different green fruit and vegetable contains a slightly different mixture of vitamins, it’s likely that any one that you choose will have a good source of at least one important nutrient of this type. In fact, most are excellent providers of several different types of vitamins. Vitamin A and vitamin C are two of the most commonly occurring vitamins in these types of vegetables and fruits. Vitamin A helps your body to process a number of different nutrients, like calcium and potassium, while vitamin C is essential for the building up of your immune system and to prevent you from getting sick.

Witness the joy of magical scenes
It’s a new place, a kingdom of wonder
A temple of smile, and the fustiness
It’s a new place, a rising sun
A kingdom of wonder, Cambodia…
Cambodia….
And to our learn, discover the light
of blessing of gold and enchanting its night
It’s in its center of kingdom of wonder on magical spell
You’ll fall in Na Na…
It’s in your place, a rising star
A kingdom of wonder, Cambodia…
Cambodia…
Cambodia…
Cambodia…
Cambodia…
Follow lake with dolphins sleep
Wonder of all was always gentle deep
It’s an adventure of a kingdom of wonder
The dream of your life
Just cross the border
It’s an adventure…
A kingdom of wonder…

VirtualBox

Download
VirtualBox is a general-purpose full virtualizer for x86 hardware. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software.

Some of the features of VirtualBox are:

Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox.

Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers.

Mona Lisa Portrait

Mona Lisa Portrait
Mona Lisa (also known as La Gioconda or La Joconde, or Portrait of Lisa Gherardini, wife of Francesco del Giocondo) is a portrait by the Italian artist Leonardo da Vinci. It is a painting in oil on a poplar panel, completed circa 1503–1519. Property of the French State, it is on permanent display at the Musée du Louvre in Paris.

The painting is a half-length portrait and depicts a seated woman, Lisa del Giocondo, whose facial expression has been frequently described as enigmatic. The ambiguity of the subject's expression, the monumentality of the composition, and the subtle modeling of forms and atmospheric illusionism were novel qualities that have contributed to the continuing fascination and study of the work. The image is widely recognised, caricatured, and sought out by visitors to the Louvre, and it is considered the most famous painting in the world. Since at least the second century, Indian sculptors created ivory thrones to proclaim royal command. On this splendidly carved throne leg, a gajasimha—a mythical creature combining the strength of an elephant (gaja) and a lion (simha)—calmly dispatches the demonic warrior dangling from its trunk. The sculptor contrasted the forceful curves and broad smooth surfaces of the elephant-lion with an intricately realized mountain landscape. Archers and wildlife gambol through its crags, while a hermit meditates and a lion slumbers.
llustrating a scene from the daily life of Buddhist monks, this painting belongs to a set of one hundred hanging scrolls depicting the five hundred luohan, or Buddhist saints. The set of paintings was commissioned by a Buddhist abbot in 1175 and completed by Lin Tinggui and another painter three years later. The paintings were transported to Japan in the thirteenth century and eventually became the property of the Daitokuji, a Buddhist temple in Kyoto. In 1894 the Daitokuji, in need of funds for repairs, exhibited forty-four of the scrolls in Boston, where 10 of the paintings were sold. The Japanese presented this painting in gratitude to the tour's American organizer, who sold it in 1902 to Charles Lang Freer.

Lin Tinggui painted the six figures with precise outlines and bright, opaque colors. The five luohan and their servant are shown washing their clothes and hanging them out to dry. Written in gold and almost completely invisible, a signed inscription by the artist appears in the lower right corner.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve refers to the evening or entire day preceding Christmas Day, a widely celebrated festival commemorating the birth of Jesus of Nazareth that takes place on December 25. It is a culturally significant celebration for most of the Western world and is widely observed as a full or partial holiday in anticipation of Christmas Day.

One reason celebrations occur on Christmas Eve is because the traditional Christian liturgical day starts at sunset, an inheritance from Jewish tradition, which in turn is based in the story of creation in Genesis: "And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day." This liturgical day is followed for all days in the Eastern rite and the custom of beginning Christmas celebration (as well as Sunday and the other major festivals) in the preceding evening is preserved in western Churches that have altered the liturgical day to start at midnight, for example the Roman Catholic Church. Many churches still ring their church bells and hold prayers in the evening before holidays; for example the Nordic Lutheran churches. In some languages, such as the Scandinavian, Christmas Eve is simply referred to as "Christmas Evening".

Since Christian tradition holds that Jesus was born at night (based in Luke 2:6-8), Midnight Mass is celebrated on Christmas Eve, traditionally at midnight, in commemoration of his birth. The idea of Jesus being born at night is reflected in the fact that Christmas Eve is referred to as "Heilige Nacht" ("Holy Night") in German, "Nochebuena" ("the Good Night") in Spanish and similarly in other expressions of Christmas spirituality, such as the song "Silent Night, Holy Night".

Nominally religious people, or people who are not formal with definitions, may see the whole day as a day of celebration or as just the day before Christmas. Millions of people around the world with no Christian or religious affiliation or background also celebrate Christmas and Christmas Eve. The emphasis of celebration on Christmas Eve varies from country to country and region to region. Read more

What is Blog?

A blog (a blend of the term web log)[1] is a type of website or part of a website supposed to be updated with new content from time to time. Blogs are usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video. Entries are commonly displayed in reverse-chronological order. Blog can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Although not a must, most good quality blogs are interactive, allowing visitors to leave comments and even message each other via GUI widgets on the blogs and it is this interactivity that distinguishes them from other static websites.[2] In that sense, blogging can be seen as a form of social networking. Indeed, bloggers do not only produce content to post on their blogs but also build social relations with their readers and other bloggers.[3]

Many blogs provide commentary on a particular subject; others function as more personal online diaries; yet still others function more as online brand advertising of a particular individual or company. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability of readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some focus on art (art blog), photographs (photoblog), videos (video blogging or vlogging), music (MP3 blog), and audio (podcasting). Microblogging is another type of blogging, featuring very short posts.  Read more

How to Remember Vocabulary?

Regardless of how many words are in your vocabulary, there's always room to learn more. Enriching your vocabulary has a myriad of benefits. When you know more words, you can easily describe situations and objects with befitting terms. Additionally, people may perceive you as more intelligent and may be more apt to listen to you. If you've set the goal of learning 10 new words a day, you'll soon find your vocabulary is rapidly expanding.

Instructions
1. Determine how you will gather 10 new words a day that you wish to learn. One popular method is to read as much as possible and take note of any word that you don't know. Keep a scrap of paper handy and write down every word that you don't know, until you have 10. Another method is to simply open a dictionary to a random page and find a word you don't know. Repeat this 10 times until you have 10 words for the day.
2. Look up the definition for each of the 10 words and write down either the official definition or a definition using your own words. Depending on your learning style, you may find it easier to define the word in your own words.
3. Use each of the 10 words in a sentence throughout the day. Fitting each word into your daily conversation is an effective method to learn the word. Where possible, use each of the 10 words as frequently as you can each day. Keep your list of words and their definitions handy so that you can consult it prior to using each word.
4. Explain each of the 10 words to a friend or family member who has agreed to help you in your quest to learn and remember 10 new words a day. Explaining a new word in your own words, rather than simply repeating the dictionary's definition, will give you a better understanding of the word.
5. Keep a list or a file on your computer or cell phone of the 10 words you have learned each day. Effective learning requires practice and repetition. If you haven't had a chance to incorporate any given day's 10 words into your daily discussions, try to include them the following day. Continue this pattern and you'll soon begin to see that you're using words that you didn't previously understand.
